Governing your use of biznizchairs.co.za and any goods or services you purchase from us.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Bizniz Chairs website and any services or goods you purchase from us. By using the site, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. The parties
1.1. "We", "us", "our", "Bizniz Chairs" means Wayne Waldeck trading as Bizniz Chairs, a sole proprietorship based in Amanzimtoti, KwaZulu-Natal.
1.2. "You", "your", "the customer" means the person or business buying our goods or services.
1.3. Bizniz Chairs is not a registered company. It trades as a sole proprietorship in the name of Wayne Waldeck.
2. What we do
We operate three service pillars:
2.1. On-site office chair repair within a 45 km radius of Amanzimtoti.
2.2. Custom upholstery and reupholstery of office chairs (workshop-based, KZN-local).
2.3. Nationwide e-commerce sale of office-chair spare parts (gas lifts, castors, mechanisms, armrests, bases, etc.) shipped throughout South Africa.
3. Pricing and VAT
3.1. All prices on the site are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of any applicable charges other than shipping.
3.2. Bizniz Chairs is not currently registered for VAT. Our annual turnover is below the R1 million compulsory VAT registration threshold under the Value-Added Tax Act 89 of 1991.
3.3. As a result, no VAT line item appears on our invoices, and we do not publish a VAT number. The price you see is the price you pay.
3.4. Prices may change without notice. The price that applies to your order is the price displayed at the time you confirm the order.
4. Orders, acceptance and stock
4.1. Placing an order or paying for an order is an offer to buy. A sale only exists once we have confirmed the order by email.
4.2. We may decline an order in cases of stock shortage, pricing errors, or fraud risk. If we decline after payment, we will refund you in full.
4.3. We do our best to keep stock levels accurate but cannot guarantee items shown as available are always in stock.
5. Payment
5.1. Online card payments are processed by Yoco. We do not see or store your full card number.
5.2. EFT is available for B2B customers on request. Goods are dispatched after payment reflects in our bank account.
5.3. We do not currently offer credit or "buy now, pay later" terms.
6. Shipping and delivery
6.1. Spares ship nationwide within South Africa. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your delivery address.
6.2. We do not currently ship internationally.

7. Returns, refunds and warranty
7.1. You have a 7-day cooling-off right on distance-sale spares under section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).
7.2. All goods carry an implied 6-month warranty under section 56 of the CPA.

8. On-site service work
8.1. Quotes for on-site repair are valid for 14 days from issue.
8.2. A call-out fee may apply where stated in the quote. The call-out fee is payable whether or not a repair goes ahead.
8.3. Workmanship on on-site repairs is guaranteed for 30 days. Parts carry the manufacturer's or our standard 6-month implied warranty, whichever applies.
9. Custom and bespoke upholstery
9.1. Bespoke upholstery (custom fabric, custom colour, made-to-order work) is non-returnable once production has started, except where the work is defective.
9.2. A 50% deposit is required before we begin bespoke work. The balance is payable on completion.
10. Use of the website
10.1. You may use the site for lawful, personal or business purposes related to buying our goods or services.
10.2. You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its admin area.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the site for resale.
- Upload viruses, malware, or anything intended to disrupt the site.
- Submit content that is defamatory, harassing, illegal, or infringes someone else's rights.
- Impersonate another person or business when ordering.
11. Intellectual property
11.1. All content on the site β logos, copy, photos, product images, code β belongs to Bizniz Chairs or our licensors and is protected by South African copyright law.
11.2. You may not copy, redistribute or commercially use our content without our written permission.
11.3. Photos you upload to our chatbot or send us by email remain yours, but you grant us a licence to use them to fulfil your quote or repair request.
12. Limitation of liability
12.1. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, the POPIA, or any other South African law that cannot be excluded.
12.2. Subject to clause 12.1, our liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, our goods, or our services is limited to the price you paid for the relevant goods or service.
12.3. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profit, loss of use, or loss of business opportunity.
12.4. We are not liable for damage caused by misuse of a part, incorrect installation by you or a third party, or use of a part on a chair it was not designed for.
13. Indemnity
13.1. You indemnify us against any third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of our goods or services, or your incorrect installation of a spare part.
14. Force majeure
14.1. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, including load-shedding, courier strikes, civil unrest, natural disasters, or supplier failures.
15. Privacy
15.1. Our handling of your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
16.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
16.2. Any dispute will be heard in the appropriate court in KwaZulu-Natal, with the magistrate's court in Durban / Amanzimtoti having jurisdiction for smaller claims.
17. Severability
17.1. If any clause of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that clause is deemed removed and the rest of the Terms remain in force.
18. Whole agreement
18.1. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Returns Policy, Shipping Policy and Cookie Notice, form the whole agreement between you and Bizniz Chairs.
18.2. No variation is binding unless agreed in writing by Wayne Waldeck.
